Got an addiction for fiction? Want to try your hand at some summer writing and get featured on our website? Come participate in Readers Lanes’ Flash Fiction Summer Extravaganza.  Flash Fiction tells a full story in just a few sentences or paragraphs. It’s a great summer challenge for the pining bookworm or the full time author and gives you the chance to reach out to our audience with your best stories.

Details:

You can submit one story with a word limit between 300 and 700 using the Readers Lane Contact Form. Only one submission per person please. Multiple submissions from the same person will be disqualified. Along with your story, send in a picture and tell us (and our readers) a bit about yourself in a short (no more than 100 words) biography. You can send in a story at the 1st and 15th of every month, meaning that each contest lasts two weeks and is followed by another two week contest. This means that you have two weeks to prepare something awesome to submit to our contests. You can resubmit previous submissions for another chance to win.

If we choose to post your story on our page, you’ll be notified by email. Good luck and Readers Lane looks forward to hearing your great fiction ideas!

By participating in the contest you agree to all of our terms and conditions.
