Born in Massachusetts and raised in New York, author T.J. O’Connor has quite a storied past. While he currently works as a security consultant while pursuing his writing career, his past provides ample material for writing in the crime genre. He worked both for the government and for a private firm as an investigator in areas such as anti-terrorism, kidnapping, surveillance and risk assessment. His work took him all over the world and enabled him to open shop as an independent consultant in some pretty high stakes areas. He lives in Virginia with his three dogs and published his first novel, Dying to Know, in 2014.
