Robert Lennon is an award-winning American novelist. Born in 1970, in northwestern New Jersey, as John Robert Lennon, he attended the University of Pennsylvania and received an MFA from the University of Montana. He has published numerous short stories and several novels, including Happyland, a satirical account of American Girl founder Pleasant Rowland that was dropped by W.W. Norton in 2006 and subsequently published serially in Harper’s Magazine. Currently an English professor at Cornell University, he is also a successful musician and composer.
