Profile
William Boyd is a screenwriter and novelist. Born in Accra, Ghana, Boyd spent his formative years in Africa. He is the author of Brazzaville Beach, A Good Man in Africa, and Solo: A James Bond Novel as well as many others. The multiple prize-winning author’s writing spans genres. He has written fiction, non-fiction, a speculative memoir (Nat Tate: An American Artist), screenplays, short stories and his own memoirs.
Born in 1952, Boyd spent years attending and teaching at various universities including those at Nice and Glasgow, as well as Oxford. He lives in France and London with his family.
