Profile

Born in 1970, American author Sean Wilsey grew up in the wealthy circles of San Francisco high society, which provided him a vast amount of material  for his first book, a humorous 2005 memoir entitled Oh the Glory of it All.  His work has appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers and he is a frequent contributor to McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern.  In More Curious, his 2014 collection of essays, he explains why he and his wife, author Daphne Beal, have spent so much time in the small, eccentric town of Marfa in far western Texas.  They live in New York City with their two children.
