Jerry M. Linenger (b.1955) is a retired NASA astronaut who flew on two space shuttle missions in 1995 and 1997, the latter culminating in a 132 day stay aboard the Russian Space Station Mir with two cosmonauts. Prior to his space flights he served in the US Navy as a flight surgeon. Named one of People magazine’s Ten Sexiest Men of 1997, he currently resides in his native state of Michigan with his wife and four children.
