A Canadian native, Aili McConnon is a journalist who has written for The New York Times, Business Week and The Wall Street Journal. She has also made numerous television news appearances. She and her brother Andres McConnon, a Princeton educated historian, teamed up to write Road to Valor, a biography of the great Italian cyclist, Gino Bartali, published in 2012.
